My Vision
I’m Francine — Brazilian, a mom, and a hairstylist.
My journey began in Brazil over 8 years ago, when I discovered my passion and true calling for this beautiful profession — one that lets us help people feel like the best versions of themselves.
A few years into my career, my love for curly, wavy, and coily hair really grew as more people started embracing their natural, real hair. That movement inspired me to specialize in curls and to keep learning and improving as a curly hair specialist.
To me, doing hair goes far beyond creating a result that looks like a picture. It’s about caring, listening, serving, and truly connecting. I feel incredibly privileged because I’m absolutely certain I love what I do. Every client is important and special to me, and each one becomes part of my life. We share experiences and stories that I carry with me wherever I go.
Seeing the happiness and confidence in my clients at the end of each appointment brings me so much joy — and reassures me I’m on the right path.

Turning Heads Hair Studio has been a part of the Calgary scene since 1986. Turning Heads is a collective hair salon of individual, professional stylists with a common goal of providing quality, personalized haircuts and hair color services to our guests. Once well established in the Ranchlands community, we made a great move to Royal Oak in 2021....and LOVE it!!
